The Italian V8 powered GHibli was the strongest competition to the high reving V12 Ferrari engines. The well designed Ghibli is considered one of the most beautiful examples of automotive designs and a timeless piece of beauty.
Only 125 Ghibli Spyder were built in total and they were an equal match to the Ferrari Daytona Spyder. Nowadays the Ghibli Spyder appears to be a true bargain with tremendous upside potential at no more than 20% of the value of the Daytona Spyder. A true underdog in value, but a masterpiece in design and engineering.
This car is equipped with teh 4.7 Litre engine and 5-speed transmission. Delivered new in the USA it features also power steering and air condition. Originally delivered in flyyellow with black leather it waslater subject of a perfectly performed color change to red. While within the collection of the well known Texas based collector Gene Ponder it received a special two tone red and black leather interior.
The car is in exceptional condition and ready to be enjoyed on the road, on tours or at shows. It is not often that one of these rare Ghibli Spyders come up for sale.
