The Jaguar E-Type (often also called XKE) was the sensation in the automobile world when it was introduced in 1961. Sleek lines, powerful engine, covered headlights - the car had it all and until today it is without any doubt one of the sexiest cars ever built.
Out of the three different model version built, the Series I is the most popular with it's classic appearance. The most desirable version were the cars built in 1966 and early 1967 equipped with the more powerful 4.2 liter engine, fully synchronized gearbox and more spacious interior as the early cars with their 3.8 liter engine.
This example here has stunning looks being finished in glossy black with a deep red interior. The car finished a full restoration in excesss of $125,000 just two years ago and has hardly seen any use since. It is converted from the sensitive SU carburetors to a set of three Weber carburetors improving the cars performance and giving it a little bit more of a distinguished sound. It will be hard to find a similar attractive car in such condition at this very competitive price. Other restored examples of this myear and model have brought prices of up to $140,000 in recent auctions and usually sell for above $100,000.
Don't miss your chance to own one of the most elegant, sexiest Britsh cars ever built in perfectly restored condition at an extremly fair price.
