This is by far the most important of the 17 Ferrari 2.0 Liter Ferrari 500 Testa Rossa built and raced. It has extensive successful race history in it's period and is know in vintage racing as the very car with which Pete Lovely won against much more powerful large displacement engine race cars the very first race at Laguna Seca.
The car was "the" featured car during the Rolex Monterey Historics honoring the 50th Anniversary of the legendary race track of Laguna Seca. Not many sports racer, especially not that many 4-cylinder Ferrari have been successfully campaigned as this important milestone of Ferrari Racing in the United States. There is simply no better 500 Testa Rossa out there...
The car is extremely well documented with original racing photos, magazine and news paper articles from the day it was raced. It was also the feature of an eight page double spread article in FORZA, a reputable magazine devoted to Ferrari only.
If you want to have one of the best and most significant 1950s Ferrari Sports Racer which is not only eligible, but also a welcome entry to any of the important historic races and touring events including the Mille Miglia, then this is your car...
